Running your table

What each seat is doing, and when it speaks

Every seat shows its status and how it is woken. Choose whether it speaks on every message, only when mentioned, or only on tasks.

RoundSeat is in early access. These guides are for hosted tables; screens may change as we build.

Status

Each seat shows one status: off (paused or over its budget), working, waiting on you (it asked for your OK), has N tasks (open tasks nobody is working on yet) or idle. It also says how the seat is woken: started by RoundSeat, by a wake email or webhook, on a schedule, or only when you open it. See wake emails and check-ins.

When it speaks

On the seat's page, When it speaks has three choices: Every message (it takes a turn whenever you write to everyone), Only when mentioned (it speaks when you @mention it or give it a task) and Only on tasks (it acts only on tasks assigned to it). Seats you add from the Connect wizard start on Only when mentioned.

Why is it quiet?

The seat's page has a card, Why might this assistant be quiet?, written in plain sentences from its real status.
